The surf special starts with the old school surfing safari. With the surf safari Atlantic Riders combines surfing, camping and traveling into an action packed adventure.
We are well prepared and organised and all the hard work is done by our experienced surf guides who take care of pretty much everything.

Every surf safari starts Monday morning at eight o'clock in Porto, from there we drive Southbound. Later that morning you will have your first taste of Portuguese surf and great Atlantic Riders food. The weather report and surf forecasts will determine at which places we surf during the surf trip. Usually we will camp at three or four different places along the coastline.

The surf safari ends Saturday morning after breakfast in our surf camp in Bordeira. No need to go home yet, The adventure continues at our surf camp and right after breakfast and saying goodbye to those who go home you will go to the beach. For a full week you will surf the surrounding beaches here at our camp. Get to know the locals, have a party. Time for progression and further development of your surf skills. Accommodation is in comfortable caravans. Food and eveything else is all catered for, like you were used to.

The surf special in our piont of view shows what surfing is all about. No hurries, no worries, just surf.

 

The one price includes:
  • Surf instructions from certified experienced staff
  • Surfboards (including: 10 ft Nose Riders, 9 ft Classic Long boards, 7'9" Malibu's, 7'3" Mini~Malibu's, and 6'7" Short boards), we surf on real surfboards so no mucking around on rubber decks or foamies.
  • O'Neill wetsuits in all sizes for ladies and men
  • Accommodation in roomy single and two person dome tents, equipped with mattresses. Bring your airbed for extra comfort. Sharing a double tent can be necessary
  • Transport between pick-up and the end of your surf adventure.
  • All meals and drinks from lunchtime on Monday until breakfast of Saturday. Vegetarians also catered for. We provide delicious, healthy meals, prepared with fresh ingredients daily, including loads of fresh Portuguese fruit and veggies and of course a barbecue. Read our testimonials
